Hello photo fans and outdoor enthusiasts! A friend recently asked me to send her a collection of photos of the Inyo National Forest since she works there. Here, without further adieu, are some of those captures. All pics were taken with my little Canon M6, which has been my go to travel and adventure camera. The Inyo, in California, encompasses much of the Owens Valley and contains Mt. Whitney, the highest point in the lower 48 States.

Here's a selection from my recent trip to Colorado. Landscapes aren't really my thing, but it's hard to go wrong in Rocky Mountain National Park. Enjoy!

I am honored to announce my first showing of fine art prints at the Winchester Art Market (WAM) on the Loudon Street Mall in Winchester, VA. Originally slated to be hung at the Trex Diagnostic Imaging Center, the five photos below (seen elsewhere on this web site) were deemed "too intense" by the office staff at the center. There are worse things for an artist/photographer to be called than too intense, right?
I was disappointed by this initial setback, but thanks to friend Charmaine Shaw, WAM recently agreed to hang my prints through the end of March 2015. We stopped by the gallery last night and proprietor Kim Johnston seemed very happy with both the content and format of the photos. They are printed on metal, providing a clean, modern look; all are either 12" x 18" or 11" x 14". Kim especially likes the photo of friend Kelsey in the '68 Dodge Dart and said, "I want to go where she's going." Yeah!

I have put together a natural light studio in my home. Pictured is one of the first results. I wish the windows were taller as the light falls off the upper end of the photos. That said, all the photography masters say one must work within the space they have. I continue to try...
